Fighting for freedom

Set during the Nazi invasion, Wolfenstein Youngblood is a first-person shooter game that is full of action and suspense. The game follows the tale of two sisters who are fighting to survive in an oppressed world. With lots of weapons and other tools available, players will experience a thrilling and dangerous journey towards the path of righteousness.

The search begins

Wolfenstein Youngblood is a continuation of the famous series’ second game Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus but it can be played even without any background knowledge on the Wolfenstein game franchise. It tells the story of Jess and Soph, the twin daughters of Wolfenstein’s main character B.J. Blazkowicz. After he was captured during the unfortunate events that happened in Wolfenstein II, it is up to his daughters to rescue him. This is where Youngblood now unfolds. You will be wearing the shoes of Jess and Soph in their quest to not only stop the Nazis from invading Paris but as well as to find and rescue their abducted father.

As a shooting game, players can expect to try out a cool arsenal of powerful weapons that they can use to bring down the invading Nazis. Aside from weapons that are already in your possession at the start of the game, you can also gain more by picking them up from your defeated enemies.

Two is better than one

What makes Youngblood different from its 2 other predecessor games is that its mechanics are built to accommodate cooperative gaming. With the game’s storyline revolving around 2 protagonists, players are given the chance to play with another person. Quests, puzzles, and other challenging missions prove to be easier with the presence of a partner during the gameplay. Of course, if you still prefer to brave the chaos alone, you are still more than free to do so.

Taking a dip in history

Wolfenstein Youngblood is like revisiting World War 2. The game is able to effectively shape its environment with just the right amount of chaos, terror, and destruction, making it believable and engaging to play. With the chance of being able to do missions with a partner, Youngblood’s gameplay proves to be really interesting and twice as fun.
